Alex Antetokounmue, younger brother of Giannis and Thanassis, traded with Milwaukee Bucks affiliate G League

The Wisconsin Herd, affiliated with the Milwaukee Bucks, acquired Alex Antetokounmpo by trade on Monday, putting Antetokounmpo’s youngest brother into the same organization as the brothers. Giannis And the Thanassis.

Alex Antetokounmpo appeared in 15 games for the Toronto Raptors J-League branch in 2021-22, averaging 2.6 points and 1.3 rebounds on 50% of shots at about 7 minutes per game.

He has yet to make his NBA debut, but he has formed a three-man team with Giannis and Thanassis to challenge All-Star Skills at the NBA 2022 in Cleveland.

Along with Alex Antetokounmpo, Herd also earned a second-round pick in the 2023 NBA G League draft in exchange for player rights to Jalen Lecque.

6-foot-8, who turns 21 next month, attended high school in Milwaukee and earned twice state honors before leaving to play in Europe after high school. He spent one season playing internationally before joining the G League in 2021.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been with the Bucks since the 2013-14 season, and Thanasis joined the organization in 2019.
