Frank Ocean celebrates 10 years of “Channel Orange”

Frank Ocean fans adore the artist for his worldly, out-of-the-box voice. He is also known for his elliptical lyric poetry. And on July 10, the rapper celebrated the 10th anniversary of his famous recording, orange channel (2012).

To celebrate the occasion, Ocean has dropped two new episodes of his show on Apple Music 1 titled blond radio (Named after his 2016 album, Blonde). These two episodes, “blonded Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “blonded ENERGY!” They are the first two episodes since Ocean’s Christmas episode With Wim “Snowman” Hof.

Now, in the episode “Lucy”, Ocean talks with Dr. James Fadiman about his petty drug abuse. During their conversation, Ocean revealed that he is “working in Malibu this summer” in the “studio”. (Hope for Frank Ocean’s new music soon!) After their 35-minute conversation, Ocean recorded the audio for the episode. Check out that episode below.

The second episode was released on the tenth anniversary of orange channel, “blonded ENERGY!” , showing Ocean’s conversation with Master Mingtong Gu. Ocean and Gu Qi Gong discussed, a meditative practice. You can check out that episode below.

In other ocean news, the rapper is already set to head the 2023 Coachella music festival. The California event has already announced its return next year, and will take place on April 15-17 and April 21-23, 2023.
