IHR emergency team on the spread of monkey flu in several countries

The Director-General of the World Health Organization is convening an emergency team under Section 48 of the International Health Code in connection with the current outbreak of the monkey box virus. The meeting will be held on 23 June 2022 and will be open only to members and advisers of the Emergency Committee.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide feedback to the Secretary-General of the World Health Organization on the public health emergency of the Department of Public Health of the World Health Organization and on the interim recommendations made.
