Oakbrook Mall shooting: 4 shots inside Oakbrook center, 1 in custody, police | Watch live

OAK BROOK, Ill. (WLS) – Four people were injured in a shooting Thursday night at the Oakbrook Center Mall, police said. One is in custody.

People have posted on social media that they are locked inside the shops in the mall where the shooting allegedly took place. Outside the business complex, police cars, fire trucks and ambulances were seen circling every exit.

Police said they went to the mall and were engaged in clearing the evening. While shopkeepers and shopkeepers were locked inside shops and restaurants, they waited to leave, the widespread mood of the scene was calm, the police worked properly and the shopkeepers generally waited patiently until their turn was out.

DuPont County Board member Pete Tiziani said he was shopping nearby at the time of the shooting and saw police response. He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture, and that his confession had been obtained through torture.

Eyewitnesses said the mall was overcrowded with last-minute Christmas shoppers at the time of the shooting.

Family members rushed to the mall to meet their loved ones once the lock was removed, although police did not say how long it would take.

Oakbrook police confirmed that the shooting took place inside the mall, but did not say under what circumstances the shooting took place.

No further details were immediately available.
