PlayStation unveils Backbone One iPhone controller inspired by DualSense

Sony has a statement The new Backbone One PlayStation Edition, an officially licensed iPhone controller built with PS Remote Play in mind.

Backbone One PlayStation Edition is similar to the version Existing single backbone controller, with one major difference: it eschews the original black color scheme in favor of pure white tones inspired by Sony’s DualSense wireless controller. However, other familiar DualSense design elements, including parallel thumb sticks, are not duplicated.

Sony is promoting Backbone One PlayStation – powered by the connected device – as the perfect companion PS Remote Play A service that allows players to stream their games from PS4 or PS5 consoles to their iPhone using a dedicated App Store app.

However, the company also notes that Backbone One can be used to play a variety of iOS games designed with console support.

Backbone One PlayStation Edition will initially be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with more countries to follow.
