NFL’s Tom Pellisero reports that, according to a source, the Baltimore Ravens meet the Pro Bowl lane three times on Thursday.

Pierre Paul, 33, remains a free agent for nearly three months into the league’s new year. He spent the last four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, scoring 2.5 sacks in 12 games played in 2021, the final year of a two-year deal he signed with the club in 2020. JPP was traded to the Bucs in 2017 after eight seasons with the New York Giants He helped lead the club to the Super Bowl title.

If Pierre Paul signs for the Ravens, his first AFC experience will come alongside veteran defensive linebacker Calais Campbell, Michael Pierce, Derek Wolff and . Brent Urban, Booming Trench Trenchers Odafe Oweh, Jaylon Ferguson and Justin Madubuike. JPP will join Pierce and juniors David Ojabo, Travis Jones and Rayshad Nichols as off-season additions to the Baltimore defense line.

The Ravens currently have $5.58 million in the 2022 space, per Over The Cap. Pierre Paul earned $12.8 million in base salary and bonuses last season, but with the aging superstar coming off a mediocre campaign in 2021 and off-season shoulder surgery, JPP could cut his salary and match those of Baltimore and the top seven.
