Some Pixel users on the T-Mobile network aren’t getting updates

One of the reasons why many smartphone users choose to use a Pixel smartphone is the fact that they get timely Android operating system and security updates. They are always the first to get a major Android OS update when it is released. And the update usually comes like clockwork, almost as soon as a new month comes around.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the case for many Pixel users on the T-Mobile network. Today, these frustrations have come to light as many of these users have taken refuge reddit and T-Mo’s website to voice their concerns.

Users in these threads seem to be complaining about the Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and more. The issue also affects both locked and unlocked devices.

According to the complaints, some users have not received a security update for two months. There are also some users who say that they had to soft reset their device before running the update. Obviously, this isn’t ideal and isn’t something that should happen in the first place.

We hope T-Mobile addresses these concerns and releases an update for these devices soon.
