The infamous video game leaker snitch He abandons mysteries and retires from rumors. The notorious detective has unlocked a plethora of hidden clues to a variety of games, encompassing everything from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion remaster even Monster Hunter Rise Imminent conversion to PS5 and PS4. His record was impeccable, though as his reputation grew, his evidence became increasingly murky—at times, disturbingly. But now, his five minutes of internet fame were over!

In an interview with indoor games, he said “leaking new ads isn’t fun anymore”, and that he would dedicate his time to his Discord server instead. There was speculation that The Snitch had backdoor access to a platform like YouTube, so he could watch private videos when they were uploaded by major publishers. “It’s a fun theory,” he said in response to the idea.

His leaks were never malicious, Alsnitch said, and only targeted major publishers: “I am well aware of the damage that even a small, simple leak can do to the work of people who have spent months or years on a game. In fact, we can say that I have dedicated myself to giving Clues for users to speculate, rather than just a direct leak. It will sound narcissistic and deranged, but I’m sure I even helped some of the events get more exposure.”

Of course, video game rumor mongers never really go away, and there’s no doubt that someone will eventually pop up to fill The Snitch’s place. For now, though, clues and hidden puzzles have been put on ice.
